5th Austrian Skiing Championships of Transplanted and Dialysis Patients

The fifth Austrian skiing championships of transplanted, dialysis patients, their families, doctors and nursing staff took place on the “Forsteralm” for the first time. The 60 participators experienced a professionally organized race. The first run was held as a giant slalom and the second one was a “He&She-Race”, fun factor guaranteed! At the award ceremony in the crystal hall of the “Rothschildschloss” in Waidhofen/Ybbs the participants were symbolically awarded with cups and prizes of honor. The important thing however was the Olympic thought “It’s taking part that counts” which was supported by the large attendance of celebrities.
